正式版本除去修正很多beta版的bugs和增加各种语言packages之外，功能上唯一的改变就是增强了标签式浏览的控制（在Tools » Options » Advanced里面更改设置）。
Better Tabbed Browsing Controls: You can now make links opened by other applications open into a new tab, reuse an existing tab, or open a new window.
升级随之带来的一个小问题就是之前安装的一些extensions跟1.0版不兼容，譬如我之前安装的Copy Plain Text 0.2和EditCSS 0.2.2。希望developers能尽快负责的把他们的extensions也相应升级。
现在我基本上采用Firefox浏览网页，但是感觉IE也是必不可少的。因为有的网站跟Firefox不compatible，一些功能和式样只能在IE上用或者看得到。幸好还有IEview 0.83这个extension，可以避免copy&paste网址之苦了。
还发现Firefox的一个非常聪明的地方：
Smarter Search: Google Search is built right into the toolbar, and there are a plethora of other search tools including Smart Keywords (type “dict [word]” in the Location bar), and the new Find bar (which finds text as you type without covering up anything).
比方说，我在地址栏里直接敲imdb tom hanks，网页就会直接跳到Tom Hanks在imdb.com上的那页资料；再比如，在地址栏里敲amazon my life，网页也会跳到Clinton这部自传在amazon的那页。这种便利是IE远远不能比拟的。
