1. What did you do in 2007 that you’d never done before?
2004 – Eat lobsters as lunches and dinners 3 days in a row in summer at Bar Harbor (this is the first thing popping up to my mind :)
2005 – visited California twice; watched one Red Sox match at Minneapolis. :D
2006 – 这个，结婚算不算？
2007 – 好像还真没有……看来我真的老了。wait a min, 吃过生肉算么？（感谢minado）
2. Did you keep your New Years’ resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
2004 – didn’t have resolutions last year I guess, at least I don’t remember them… this year I wish I could get my PhD degree and find a job as smoothly as possible
2005 – It is a shame that my last year’s resolution is not well kept… Although I have finished the draft of my dissertation, feedbacks of my boss are yet to know.
2006 – 我终于拿到博士学位了！狂笑三声~ 明年的计划当然是好好享福，多多赚钱咯
2007 – 执行得还算可以吧。明年的计划是工作得再努力些，做家务再勤快些，不要把开着口的水瓶放在键盘边上。

2004 – Tons of! It’s like a fashion in my department.
2005 – Yes. One of our friends here in Boston. A baby boy with a Chinese name I’d never seen before.
2006 – 身边的貌似没有。

2004 – Thank God no!
2005 – Thank God no!

5. What countries did you visit?
2004 – … I am stuck at USA..

6. What would you like to have in 2008 that you lacked in 2007?
2004 – Persistency! Persistency! Persistency!
2005 – a PhD degree would be great!
2006 – 希望工作起来游刃有余。
2007 – 工作上的知识和人际关系。
7. What date from 2007 will remain etched upon your memory?
2004 – May 16th… AC Milan officially celebrated their 17th Scudetto after 5 long years!
2005 – May 25th… AC Milan threw out 3-goal advantage in 10 mins and lost to Liverpool at penalty shoot-out. I wish I could erase that day from my memory!
2006 – 4月14日，终于嫁掉。
2007 – April 16th，Virginia Tech Massacre.
8. What was your biggest achievement of the year?
2004 – Finally on track in my dissertation
2005 – Finally get reunion with boyfriend and have a real home
2006 – 拿到了博士学位，霸占了我家老虎。
2007 – 在我们group分崩离析后居然没被炒掉，重新又在另一个group开始工作，so far so good。
9. What was your biggest failure?
2004 – Not getting my proposal done :(
2005 – Not getting my final defense done :(
2006 – 恩……没能更好的掌握工作技能。
2007 – 工作上没能再proactive一些。
10. Did you suffer illness or injury?
2004 – Luckily no
2005 – Had an unlucky October with headaches and coughs
2006 – 没有。谢谢上帝。
2007 – 前11个月都很好，结果12月份先是早上上班地滑摔了一跤，然后等到开始放假就感冒──都一个多星期了。5555
11. What was the best thing you bought?
2004 – LOTR – ROTK extended version DVD. I simply love this trilogy.
2005 – Thinkpad D43 – first weekly paycheck for my boyfriend as my promise/debt. :P
2006 – a 2007 Toyota Camry V6
2007 – an iMac，非常喜欢。
12. Whose behaviour merited celebration?
2004 – Andriy Shevchenko! All of a sudden, he got his first Scudetto after 5 years in Milan, 2nd time top scorer in Serie A, got married to his long-time girlfriend and had a lovely son named Jordan. Last but not least, the Pallone D’ore, which is the dream of every professional football player.
2005 – This year, the Oscar goes to…. my boyfriend! lol~
2006 – 我自己。真得很不容易的一年。
2007 – Andy Roddick. A very inspiring young man. 热情，聪明，乐观，幽默，爱国，毫不放弃。
13. Whose behaviour made you appalled and depressed?
2004 – Little Bush’s re-election. :(
2005 – Those crazy suicide bombers
2006 – 没有，好像。
2007 – 那些因为自己的原因却把枪口对准无辜群众的人。
14. Where did most of your money go?
2004 – Rent, I reckon…
2005 – My on-line banking :D
2006 – 嗯，存起来了。
2007 – all kinds of Fidelity accounts…
15. What did you get really, really, really excited about?
2004 – lots. won’t name them.
2005 – many things.
2006 – 爸爸妈妈来美国玩了一个月^^
2007 – Milan’s CL Championship, Sox’ WS Championship, US Tennis Team’s Davis Cup, Patriots’ on-going perfect season, and also Celtics’ great season!

2004 – five for fighting’s ‘100 years’
2005 – the soundtrack of The Motorcycle Diaries, especially ‘Jardin’
2006 – Josh Groban的You Are Loved，最喜欢那首february song
2007 – Dropkick Murphys’ “I’m Shipping Up To Boston”; Maroon 5’s “Wake Up Call”; Feist’s “1,2,3,4”.

2004 – with my boyfriend along with my roommate and two old-time friends. My roommate and I even decorated a nice Christmas tree.
2005 – no detailed plan yet, but defintely with my boyfriend
2006 – 没什么特别的计划，那几天还要上班。估计就是吃点好的罢，哈哈。
2007 – 和朋友还有lh一起包饺子过节。

2004 – my boyfriend, no doubt about that.

2004 – our apartment has no cable, but I’d love to watch those soaps whenever had a chance. something like ‘friends’, ‘Joey’, ‘everybody loves Raymond’ and so on.
2005 – tons.. since I am following popular soaps now. Right now the favorite is ‘two and half men’.
2006 – 恩，two and a half men, how i met your mother, desperate housewives…
2007 – 继续在看上面那三个，不过现在看football, baseball, basketball更多，所以老错过电视剧。
25. Do you hate anyone now that you didn’t hate this time last year?
2004 – I rarely hate ppl, even Bush…
2005 – still feel no hatred
2006 – 没啥好恨的

2004 – If you mean English book(s), Harry Potter series.
2005 – HP6 and the Motorcycle Diaries
2006 – 今年好像没有读书，blush~
2007 – 说不上最好的，看了HP7, Roger的传记等等，没觉得特别好的。
27. What was your greatest musical discovery?
2004 – I was so obsessed with LOTR trilogy soundtrack
2005 – soundtrack of the Motorcycle Diaries, and some pop music
2006 – Josh Groban最新的专辑。非常喜欢。而且前阵子还去听了five for fighting的演唱会。John的嗓子真好~
2007 – Maroon 5的演唱会，Feist的歌，还有Sarah Connor的Just One Last Dance。
28. What did you want and get?
2004 – year-long happiness
2005 – reunion with my bf in Boston :D
2006 – 学位和工作和钱，汗
2007 – 和lh感情好，工作还算顺利，爸妈亲戚和我们身体都好。
29. What did you want and not get?
2004 – why ask me again and again? my proposal done!
2005 – THE degree :(
2006 – 更好的表现。

30. What were your favourite films of this year?
2004 – Since ROTK was back to 2003, I give this award to HP3… I watched 4 times already! Once in cinema, once in IMAX, once in other’s home, then DVD… I bought it at the first day of its release.
2005 – Brokeback Mountain! Ang Lee rocks!
2006 – 今年貌似就去电影院看了ice age, da vince code & the departed。都觉得不错。
2007 – 今年看的电影也不多。喜欢bourne III, gone baby gone，色戒，click（本来以为只是一个无脑的喜剧，但是后来看到人生中关于家庭和工作的选择那段，我哭得天昏地暗）还有几个动画片。
31. What did you do on your birthday, and how old were you?
2004 – I forgot… ppl in my age aren’t very excited about their birthdays, thus I am not telling you how old I am.
2005 – Nice part of having a blog – post on my birthday
2006 – 不记得了，估计在上班。
2007 – lh给我买了很漂亮的花。 ：）
32. What one thing would have made your year immeasurably more satisfying?
2004 – If I have already found a job with decent paychecks…
2005 – If I have already been called “Dr. Zhong”
2006 – 如果老板再给我多一点bonus…
2007 – 如果在工作上做得更好。如果能去吉列体育馆看场大雪中的Pats比赛就好了。
33. How would you describe your personal fashion concept in 2007?
2004 – Changes dramatically… Thanks to my cousin who visited me from Canada during the summer.
2005 – not much. When I had time, I didn’t have money; while when I had money, I didn’t have time. :(
2006 – 买的基本上都是business casual。现在逛街就看jacob, ann taylor这些了，AE, gap已经不适合我了。
2007 – 同上。

2004 – education, good nature, and a great boyfriend who always supports me

2004 – Evading is just wasting your time. Eventually you will have to get your hands on and work until it is right.
2005 – Impossible is nothing.
