A Milan driver delivered the present directly to the address of Ricardo Izecson dos Santos Leite at the personal request of Adriano Galliani and the whole Rossoneri club. The wonderful and tasty offering came from the pastery shop Dolce In in the same street as the Milan headquarters. It was a sign of the high affection the youngster is held and to add to this gift, the official Milan site and Milan Channel were inudated with birthday greetings from all over the world. The star from Sao Paolo has been called many things: the golden boy, child, jewel, champion in the 22 shirt, sweet guy … and simply Kaka as well as Ricky, Riccardino, Ricardo Kaka. There are plenty of those who are thrilled to share their birthday with Kaka and those who would willingly invite him for dinner. We have had so many different messages of greeting for the Brazilian starlet.

Over a 10000 mails have arrived in the last few days, all of them expressing the upmost in their greetings. They have come from all over Italy but also from as far as Moscow, USA, Indonesia, Brazil, of course, Ukraine. From Italy alone, over 200 mails and 500 SMS messages have arrived on Thursday at redazione@milanchannel.com and the channel’s number 347-1612899. The fax machine at Via Turati has also been very busy as have been the telephone lines. Just for the record, Kant and Napoleone were born on April 22. Kaka is a young man who reads a lot and will no doubt conqueror the footballing world and although he may be associated with these world figures he will be the first to say he just wants to be himself.

MILAN – ‘Corriere della Sera’ quotes Adriano Galliani’s comment about the cake Milan delivered to Kaka on the day of his 22nd birthday. He said: ‘Kaka is young, still a boy, the last to arrive. I thought it was right to make him feel our affection.’
